A demo I did for a class on combining traditional drawing with digital color. I will post the PDF document I made in the next few days.

What Faces Can't Tell You

An editorial illustration in response to Lisa Feldman Barrett’s Op-Ed “What Faces Can’t Tell Us” in the New York Times. There is a great illustration by Olympia Zagnoli to actually go with the article. Someday 🙂

Soviet Era Sex-Ed

It has been a while since I have worked in ink. A quick piece about Sex-Ed for a class.

NYT Franco Op-Ed

An editorial illustration of James Franco’s Op – Ed addressing Shia LaBeouf’s antics. Read the article here. Created for a class.

While working on my applications I had very little time to draw everyday. Here are a few drawings from life I have done since putting the apps in the mail. A little rusty but getting back in the swing of things. All drawings are 2 – 20 min.

Planes!

I have recently started to enjoy doodling vehicles. More from the sketchbooks soon.

Open Mic1

A quick drawing from an upcoming project.

I have just put the finishing touches on the last of my grad school apps for this year. Keep you fingers crossed for me.

Here is a quick sketch from a while back. There will be much more time to post now that I have finished my apps.

As an experiment I printed a few copies of a book that contains some images from the Pecking Order paintings. I am thinking of doing an offset print run of these hand bound “zine” style booklets for promotional purposes. Printing in small quantities is not at all cost effective so I would have to use crowd funding  of some sort to get them printed. It might be an opportunity to print this and a sketchbook in the same print run. An ongoing project, keep an ear out for updates.
